What Is This About?

If you received a letter or email about a data breach from ZenPatient, Inc. (“ZenPatient”), your sensitive personal information or protected health information may have been compromised in a recent data breach. What Happened?

ZenPatient, Inc. of California disclosed in a notification of data breach filed with the California Attorney General that it experienced unauthorized access to its network from December 5, 2025 to February 12, 2026. After identifying suspicious activity on its network on or around February 27, 2026, ZenPatient launched an investigation into the incident with the assistance of third-party cybersecurity and data privacy experts. The investigation determined that the unauthorized actor(s) accessed or copied certain ZenPatient data during the period of access. ZenPatient then undertook a review of the affected data to identify the persons to whom the information relates and to determine the address information of those persons. ZenPatient’s review completed on July 1, 2026.

ZenPatient reported the breach to the California Attorney General on July 17, 2026, and to the Texas Attorney General on July 21, 2026. ZenPatient began mailing notification letters to affected individuals on or about July 17, 2026.

What Information Was Impacted?

According to ZenPatient’s public disclosures, the following categories of personal information and protected health information may have been compromised:

• Name;
• Address;
• Date of birth;
• Medical information; and
• Other sensitive personal and protected health information.
