On June 9, 2026, YouLend received alerts of a disruption to its computer network. Upon identifying the disruption, YouLend launched an immediate investigation with the assistance of external cybersecurity experts. The investigation determined that YouLend’s network was accessed without authorization from June 5, 2026, to June 9, 2026. The information accessed included at least names, dates of birth, and social security numbers.
YouLend reported the breach to the Attorney General of California on July 15, 2026. YouLend has begun to send individual notice to persons whose information the company has determined was potentially accessed during the breach.
