According to dark web monitoring sources, Winn-Dixie (and/or its corporate parent, The Winn-Dixie Company, collectively “Winn-Dixie”) may have experienced a data breach allegedly carried out by the threat group Anubis. Our firm is investigating this incident and would like to speak with current and former employees of Winn-Dixie or Harveys Supermarkets (whose stores recently were rebranded to Winn-Dixie).
On or around August 3, 2026, dark web monitoring websites including Ransomware.live detected that the cybercriminal threat group known as Anubis had claimed a breach of Winn-Dixie’s systems in a post made to the group’s dark web leak site. Anubis claims to be in possession of company internal documents and may have acquired personal information belonging to current and former employees.
As of publication, Winn-Dixie has not confirmed the alleged breach’s authenticity. Details of the alleged breach, such as the full scope of potentially affected information, remain under investigation.
