What Is This About?

If you received a letter or email about a data breach from Reynolds Road Surgical Center LLC d/b/a Wildwood Surgical Center (“Wildwood”) of Ohio, your sensitive personal information or protected health information may have been compromised in a recent data breach. What Happened?

Wildwood detected suspicious activity on its network on or about June 26, 2025. Upon detection, Wildwood took measures to secure its network and launched an investigation with the support of third-party specialists to determine the nature and scope of the incident. The investigation determined that certain information on Wildwood’s network was accessed and acquired without authorization between June 24 and June 25, 2025. Wildwood then began a review of the affected data to identify what information was involved and to whom the information belonged. Wildwood posted a public notice to its website on July 13, 2026, in which it says it completed its review and confirmed the involvement of certain personal and protected health information on May 13, 2026.

According to the public notice, individuals affected by the breach will receive individual notice letters by mail in the “upcoming weeks.”

What Information Was Impacted?

According to Wildwood Surgical Center’s public notice, the following categories of personal information and protected health information may have been compromised:

                      • Social Security number;
                      • Government ID number (e.g. driver’s license or passport);
                      • Date of birth;
                      • Medical treatment and diagnostic information;
                      • Health insurance information;
                      • Bank account number;
                      • Payment or credit card number; and
                      • Other medical billing information.
