What Happened?

On May 14, 2026, Triangle Family Dentistry began to notify individuals of a data security incident involving a third-party vendor’s email account. According to the notice, the vendor discovered unauthorized access connected to an email phishing attack on October 24, 2025, and Triangle Family Dentistry was notified of the incident on or about March 19, 2026. An investigation determined that certain emails and files within the vendor’s systems may have contained sensitive personal information, including Social Security numbers.

On May 15, 2026, Triangle Family Dentistry reported the incident to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation. The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal and protected health information may have been compromised:
