If you received a letter from RCI Internet Services (a subsidiary of RCI Hospitality Holdings, Inc. f/k/a Rick’s Cabaret International, Inc. - collectively, “RCI”) about a data breach, your personal information may have been exposed. What Happened?

On March 23, 2026, RCI Internet Services, Inc. discovered a disruption within its network. Upon detection, RCI promptly took steps to investigate and respond with the assistance of third-party cybersecurity firms. On April 7, 2026, the investigation concluded that personal information of numerous independent contractors of RCI was accessed without authorization, from March 19 to March 23, 2026. RCI first disclosed the incident via a Form 8-K filed with the SEC on April 13, 2026.

On June 1, 2026, the Texas Attorney General’s website published an entry for the RCI data breach, indicating that 15,553 Texans were among those affected. Per this report, RCI has begun the process of sending individuals notification of the breach via U.S. Mail.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal information, belonging to current or former independent contractors of RCI or its owned businesses, may have been compromised:
