What Is This About?

According to dark web monitoring sources, Palm Vascular Centers, a Florida medical practice with locations in South Florida and the Treasure Coast, may have experienced a data breach allegedly carried out by the threat group known as PEAR. Our firm is investigating this incident and would like to speak with current and former patients of Palm Vascular Centers (“Palm Vascular”).

What Happened?

On or around November 4, 2026, dark web monitoring websites including Ransomware.live detected that the cybercriminal threat group known as PEAR (whose name is short for “Pure Extraction and Ransom”) had claimed to have breached data from Palm Vascular Centers in a post made to the threat group’s dark web leak site. PEAR claims to have stolen a terabyte (1 TB) of data from Palm Vascular. PEAR alleges that the files contain patient personal and protected health information as well as internal information about Palm Vascular and its business.

As of publication, Palm Vascular has not confirmed the alleged breach’s authenticity. Details of the alleged breach, such the full scope of potentially affected information and the number of potentially affected individuals, remain under investigation.

While Palm Vascular has not confirmed the alleged breach nor its associated details, based on the nature of ransom attacks on healthcare practices and claims made by the PEAR group, the categories of information that may have been compromised may include:
