If you received a letter or email about a data breach from Open Arms Care Corporation (“OAC”) of Brentwood, Tennessee, your sensitive personal information and protected health information may have been exposed. What Happened?

In August 2025, OAC detected unusual activity involving one of its email accounts. Upon detection, the company immediately began an investigation with the assistance of independent experts. OAC’s investigation revealed that some emails within its email tenant could have been accessed or acquired without authorization between June and August 2025. OAC worked to determine whose information was potentially affected, completing this review on April 30, 2026. Following this review, OAC worked to gather up-to-date contact information needed to issue notification letters to potentially affected individuals.

On June 9, 2026, OAC publicly disclosed the breach on its website and started sending notices to affected individuals.

What Information Was Impacted?

The types of personal and protected health information potentially involved may vary by individual, but could include:

                      • Medical diagnosis and treatment information;
                      • Health insurance information; and
                      • In a small number of cases, financial account information.

This incident was limited to information transmitted via email and did not involve other OAC information systems.
