If you received a letter or email about a data breach Oakdale Ear Nose & Thorat PA d/b/a Minnesota ENT (“Minnesota ENT”), your sensitive personal information or protected health information may have been compromised in a recent data breach. Our firm is investigating this incident and can help you understand your rights and potential legal options.
On or about January 16, 2026, Minnesota ENT detected unauthorized access to six of its user email accounts. Minnesota ENT, after learning of the issue, secured its network, changed email account passwords, and commenced an investigation with the assistance of external cybersecurity professionals. The investigation and Minnesota ENT’s review of the affected accounts determined that one of the mailboxes subject to the unauthorized access contained personal and/or health information belonging to Minnesota ENT patients.
On August 12, 2026, Minnesota ENT reported the breach to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation and posted a public notice to its website. Minnesota ENT began sending notice to affected individuals on August 12, 2026.
