According to several dark web monitoring websites, Mid Florida Dermatology & Plastic Surgery (“Mid Florida”) recently suffered a data breach carried out by notorious ransomware group Qilin. On or around April 25, 2026, the ransomware group Qilin claimed responsibility for an alleged cyberattack involving data associated with Mid Florida Dermatology & Plastic Surgery, a multi-location healthcare provider in Florida, posting an entry for Mid Florida to its dark web website. At this time, the incident has not been publicly confirmed by the company, and the full scope of potential data access or exposure remains unknown.
