According to dark web monitoring sources, Metro Tulsa Foot and Ankle Specialists, P.L.L.C. (“Metro Tulsa Foot”), of Oklahoma may have experienced a data breach allegedly carried out by the threat group known as Insomnia. Our firm is investigating this incident and would like to speak with current and former patients of Metro Tulsa Foot.

What Happened?

On or around August 31, 2026, dark web monitoring websites including Ransomware.live detected that the cybercriminal threat group known as Insomnia had claimed a breach of Metro Tulsa Foot’s systems in a post made to the group’s dark web leak site. Insomnia has included images with its dark web post that appear to show sensitive documents taken from Metro Tulsa Foot.

As of publication, Metro Tulsa Foot has not confirmed the alleged breach’s authenticity. Details of the alleged breach, such the full scope of potentially affected information and the number of potentially affected individuals, remain under investigation.

What Information Was Impacted?

While Metro Tulsa Foot has not confirmed the alleged breach nor its associated details, based on Insomnia’s purported proof images and the nature of ransom attacks on healthcare practices, the following categories of information may have been compromised:

• Names;
• Contact information;
• Medical information/records;
• Health insurance information;
• Driver’s license or other government IDs;
• Social Security numbers; and
• Other sensitive personal information and protected health information.
