If you recently received a letter or an email from Eckerd Youth Alternatives Inc. dba Eckerd Connects (“Eckerd Connects”), informing you that your (or your minor child’s) sensitive personal information or protected health information was compromised in a data breach, we would like to speak with you about your rights and potential legal remedies. Eckerd Connects recently disclosed that it was the victim of a data breach that exposed individuals’ sensitive personal and protected health information.

On or about November 11, 2024, Eckerd Connects detected unauthorized access to its network. Upon learning of the issue, the organization secured its network and launched a prompt investigation with the assistance of third‑party cybersecurity experts to determine the nature and scope of the incident. The investigation determined that an unauthorized third party accessed some files between November 3, 2024, and November 11, 2024. Following a thorough review of potentially impacted data, on November 17, 2025, Eckerd Connects determined that the impacted files may have contained personal information of certain individuals. On December 17, 2025, Eckerd Connects filed a notice with the Attorney General of Maine and began sending notice letters or emails to impacted individuals.

          • First and last name;
          • Address;
          • Dates of birth;
          • Social Security number;
          • Driver’s license number or other state identification number;
          • Tax identification number; and
          • Medical information.
