If you recently received a letter or an email from DocketWise informing you of a data breach, your sensitive personal and protected health information may have been exposed. DocketWise recently disclosed that it was the victim of a data breach that exposed individuals’ sensitive personal information. What Happened?

In October 2025, DocketWise identified suspicious activity involving compromised credentials linked to a third-party partner file. An investigation determined that unauthorized actor(s) used valid credentials to access certain third-party files containing law firm records and clients’ personal information.

On April 3, 2026, DocketWise published a notice on its company website and filed a notice with the Maine Attorney General. DocketWise also sent notification letters to affected individuals which include additional information about the data breach and steps you can take to protect yourself.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal and protected health information may have been compromised:

                    • Addresses;
                    • Social Security number;
                    • Date of birth;
                    • Driver’s license number and/or government-issued identification number;
                    • Financial account and payment card details;
                    • Tax identification number;
                    • Health insurance information;
                    • Medical information; and
                    • Login credentials and account access information.
