What Is This About?

If you recently received a letter or an email from Cove Risk Services, LLC (“Cove Risk”) informing you that your sensitive personal and protected health information was compromised in a data breach, we would like to speak with you about your rights and potential legal remedies. Cove Risk recently disclosed that it was the victim of a data breach that exposed individuals’ sensitive personal and protected health information.

What Happened?

Cove Risk Services, LLC recently became aware of a security incident on its internal network. Upon detection, Cove Risk launched an investigation with the assistance of third-party cyber security experts to determine the nature and scope of the incident. The investigation determined that an unauthorized third party gained access to certain information within its systems on or around May 3, 2025. On November 12, 2025, Cove Risk filed a notice with the office of the Attorney General of Maine and began sending notice letters to impacted individuals.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal and protected health information may have been compromised:

• Name;
• Date of birth;
• Driver’s license or state-issued identification number;
• Health insurance information;
• Medical information;
• Financial account information;
• Passport number; and
• Social Security number.
