According to dark web monitoring sources, Concord Eye Center of New Hampshire, may have experienced a data breach allegedly carried out by the threat group known as Interlock. Our firm is investigating this incident and would like to speak with current and former patients of Concord Eye Center.

What Happened?

On or around October 12, 2026, dark web monitoring websites including Ransomware.live detected that the cybercriminal threat group known as Interlock had claimed to have breached data from Concord Eye Center in a post made to the threat group’s dark web leak site. Interlock claims to have stolen 290 gigabytes (290 GB) of files, including patient medical information and sensitive personal information.

As of publication, Concord Eye Center has not confirmed the alleged breach’s authenticity. Details of the alleged breach, such the full scope of potentially affected information and the number of potentially affected individuals, remain under investigation.

What Information Was Impacted?

While Concord Eye Center has not confirmed the alleged breach nor its associated details, based on the nature of ransom attacks on healthcare practices and claims made by the Interlock group, the categories of information that may have been compromised may include:

• Names;
• Health information such as info about medical treatment, condition, or diagnosis;
• Health insurance information;
• Social Security number;
• Contact information;
• Demographic information; and
• Other sensitive personal information and protected health information.
