What Is This About?

If you recently received a letter or an email from Coastal Carolina Health Care, PA (“CCHC”) informing you that your sensitive personal or protected health information was compromised in a data breach, we would like to speak with you about your rights and potential legal remedies. CCHC recently disclosed that it was the victim of a data breach that may have exposed individuals’ sensitive personal and protected health information.

What Happened?

On March 28, 2025, CCHC identified suspicious activity that disrupted access to some of its systems. In response, CCHC promptly acted to secure its network environment and retained an independent cybersecurity firm to investigate the incident and assess whether any sensitive information may have been affected.

The investigation determined that an unauthorized actor accessed and obtained certain personal and protected health information during the period between March 21, 2025 and March 27, 2025. Following this finding, CCHC engaged a third-party vendor to perform a detailed review of the impacted data to determine the specific information involved.

On March 24, 2026, CCHC filed a notice with the New Hampshire Attorney General and began sending out notice letters to the impacted individuals.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal and protected health information may have been compromised:

                  • Protected health information such as medical or health insurance information.
