What Is This About?

If you are a current or former patient or staff member of Cherry Street Services, Inc. (d/b/a “Cherry Health”) of Michigan, your sensitive personal information may have been compromised in a recent data breach. Our firm is investigating this incident and would like to speak with current and former patients and staff members of Cherry Health, or anyone who has received a notice letter about the data breach.

What Happened?

Cherry Health detected suspicious activity on its network on or about April 19, 2026. Cherry Health promptly took measures to secure its environment and launched an investigation with the support of third-party specialists to determine the nature and scope of the unauthorized activity. The investigation determined that certain information on Cherry Health’s network was accessed and copied by an unauthorized individual. Cherry Health posted a public notice of the incident to its website on or about June 18, 2026, wherein it indicated that affected data, belonging to current and former patients and staff members, may include sensitive personal information and protected health information.

According to local news reporting, Cherry Health’s systems were disrupted for several days in April 2026. Cherry Health’s website notice indicates that Cherry Health is still in the process of reviewing affected data and the identities of the persons to whom the data belongs. When the review is finalized, Cherry Health will notify potentially affected individuals by written letter.

What Information Was Impacted?

According to Cherry Health’s public notice, the following categories of personal information and protected health information may have been compromised:

                      • Social Security numbers;
                      • Dates of birth;
                      • Health insurance information including ID numbers;
                      • Patient ID numbers; and
                      • Provider names and service dates.
