What Is This About?

According to dark web monitoring sites, Central Medical Services of Westrock, P.C. (“CMSW”) of New York recently suffered an alleged data breach claimed by the criminal ransomware group known as Inc Ransom. Our firm is investigating this matter and would like to speak with current and former patients of CMSW, who may have been affected by this incident.

What Happened?

On May 8, 2026, the ransomware group Inc Ransom announced that it had breached CMSW’s systems and claimed to have obtained, among other things, “all patient medical records in their entirety.” The alleged attackers posted proof screenshots that show medical records, driver’s licenses, and file folders purportedly from CMSW. Inc Ransom claims to have stolen over one terabyte of files from CMSW.

As of publication, CMSW has not confirmed that it suffered the alleged breach. The total number of individuals whose information is involved in the alleged breach is unknown, though Inc Ransom claims to be in possession of all patient records maintained by CMSW. The investigation into the nature and extent of the unauthorized access remains ongoing.
