What Is This About?

If you recently received correspondence from CareCloud, Inc. (“CareCloud”) informing you that your sensitive personal and protected health information may have been involved in a data breach, we would like to speak with you about your rights and potential legal remedies. What Happened?

On March 16, 2026, CareCloud, Inc. experienced a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to one of its electronic health record environments within its CareCloud Health division. The incident temporarily disrupted system functionality and access to data for approximately eight hours before full restoration later that same day.

Upon discovering the incident, CareCloud promptly initiated an investigation with the assistance of external cybersecurity experts and notified law enforcement authorities. The company also reported the incident to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in a Form 8-K filing on March 24, 2026.

CareCloud determined that the unauthorized activity was limited to a specific environment and did not impact its broader systems. However, because the affected environment stores patient information, the company is continuing to investigate whether any sensitive data was accessed or exfiltrated and to determine the full scope of the incident.
