What Happened?

Bank3 discovered suspicious activity within its computer network on August 20, 2025 and began an investigation with the assistance of outside forensic specialists. The investigation determined that an unauthorized third party accessed the bank’s systems at various times between July 25, 2025 and August 7, 2025. During that time, certain files were viewed or copied.

The ransomware group known as Qilin later claimed responsibility and publicly stated that it had obtained approximately 149 gigabytes of data, which it described as the bank’s full dataset. After reviewing the affected data, Bank3 began notifying impacted individuals on or about April 15, 2026. The company also reported the incident to state regulators, including filings made in New Hampshire and Maine on April 15, 2026.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal and financial information may have been compromised:
