What Is This About?

According to dark web monitoring sources, Texas-based AngMar Management Services (“AngMar”), which manages a network of home health and hospice providers including Angels Care Home Health, may have experienced a data breach allegedly carried out by the threat group Interlock. Our firm is investigating this incident and would like to speak with current and former AngMar staff as well as current and former patients and staff of the home health and hospice providers managed by AngMar, including Angels Care Home Health and Angels Care Hospice.

What Happened?

On or around August 11, 2026, dark web monitoring websites including Ransomware.live detected that the cybercriminal threat group known as Interlock had claimed a breach of AngMar’s systems in a post made to the group’s dark web leak site. Interlock claims to have taken 710 gigabytes of data from AngMar, including patient medical information and other sensitive information.

As of publication, AngMar has not confirmed the alleged breach’s authenticity. Details of the alleged breach, such as the full scope of potentially affected information, remain under investigation.

What Information Was Impacted?

While AngMar has not confirmed the alleged breach or its associated details, based on the nature of information maintained by healthcare practices and the claims made by Interlock, the following categories of information may have been compromised:

• Names;
• Contact information;
• Information about medical treatment, diagnosis, or condition;
• Health insurance information; and
• Sensitive personal identifiers such as Social Security numbers.
