What Happened?

In July 2025, American Lending Center experienced a ransomware attack that affected its internal network. According to the company, an unauthorized threat actor gained access to certain systems and files containing sensitive personal information.

On April 8, 2026, after conducting a forensic investigation and data review, American Lending Center determined the scope of the incident and the individuals potentially impacted. On April 28, 2026, American Lending Center filed a notice of the data breach with the Attorney General of Maine and began notifying affected consumers.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal information may have been compromised:
