Have You Bought or Sold Tickets Through Ticketmaster?

Ticketmaster dominates the sale, resale, and transfer of tickets for concerts, sporting events, theater performances, comedy shows, and other live events in the United States. We are investigating whether Ticketmaster and Live Nation used their market power, control over venues and event promotion, exclusive ticketing arrangements, and ticket-transfer restrictions to limit competition and drive up ticket prices and fees consumers paid.

In April 2026, a federal jury in State of New York, et al. v. Live Nation Entertainment, Inc., et al., No. 1:24-cv-03973-AS (S.D.N.Y.) found that Ticketmaster willfully acquired or maintained monopoly power through exclusionary conduct in markets for primary ticketing services at major concert venues, and that its conduct caused anticompetitive effects. The jury also found that Live Nation controlled, dictated, or encouraged Ticketmaster’s conduct in those markets and that both companies engaged in unlawful conduct that harmed competition across numerous states and the District of Columbia. That case was brought by state attorneys general and may take years to pay impacted buyers and sellers. Although our firm was not involved in that case, the verdict provides concrete support for investigating Ticketmaster and Live Nation’s practices in other parts of the ticketing market.

What Action Can You Take?

Our firm is investigating potential antitrust claims against Ticketmaster and its parent company Live Nation. Ticketmaster may have illegally caused consumers to pay higher prices or fees when buying tickets and to receive less money when selling tickets. If you bought or sold tickets on Ticketmaster since 2010 you may have claim.

Our firm is investigating whether Ticketmaster directed forfeited funds in the Ticketmaster 401(k) plan to its own benefit while fees continued to be deducted from participants' accounts. This does not imply that Ticketmaster violated any law, and no determination of liability has been made.
