What Is This About?

If you received a letter or email about a data breach from Allergic Disease Associates, P.C. d/b/a The Asthma Center (“TAC”) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, your sensitive personal information or protected health information may have been compromised in a recent data breach. What Happened?

The Asthma Center learned of suspicious activity related to its computer systems in November 2025. In response, TAC initiated a security response and began an investigation into the nature and scope of the event. The investigation confirmed that an unauthorized actor gained access to portions of TAC’s systems between October 28 and November 17, 2025. TAC then undertook a review of the files that had been subject to unauthorized access to identify potentially affected individuals to whom the data belongs.

On or around August 24, 2026, The Asthma Center published a public Notice of Data Event on its website. Having completed its review, TAC is expected to have begun to mail notice letters to affected individuals.

What Information Was Impacted?

According to The Asthma Center’s public notice, the below categories of information may have been compromised:

• Name;
• Date of birth;
• Clinical information;
• Diagnosis information;
• Prescription information;
• Treatment information;
• Other medical information; and
• Health insurance member number.
