According to dark web monitoring sources, Horizon Family Medical Group (“Horizon”) of New York may have experienced a data breach allegedly carried out by the threat group Inc Ransom. Our firm is investigating this incident and would like to speark with current and former patients or employees of Horizon Family Medical Group.
On June 18, 2026, dark web monitoring websites including Ransomware.live detected that the threat actor group known as Inc Ransom had claimed a breach of Horizon’s computer systems. Inc Ransom claims to have stolen over 7 terabytes (TB) of data in the alleged breach, including personal and health information of Horizon’s patients. Inc Ransom claims to have contacted Horizon’s management, implying that Inc Ransom has issued a ransom demand against Horizon, and claims to be in possession of Horizon’s “entire digital footprint.”
As of publication, Horizon Family Medical Group has not confirmed the breach. Details of the alleged breach remain under investigation.
