What Happened?

Kaplan North America, LLC has reported a data security incident involving unauthorized access to its computer servers. According to Kaplan’s data notice letter, an unauthorized actor accessed private information on Kaplan’s servers between October 30, 2025 and November 18, 2025 and took certain files.

Kaplan later determined that the files may have contained sensitive personal information, including names, Social Security numbers, and/or driver’s license numbers. Although the incident was discovered in February 2026, affected individuals were not notified until March 17, 2026, raising potential concerns about delayed disclosure.

If you received a data breach notice letter or email from Kaplan, you may have legal rights. Our firm is investigating potential claims for individuals affected by the breach.
