What Happened?

On March 20, 2024, Impac Mortgage Holdings, Inc. identified signs of unauthorized access within its computer systems. The company launched an investigation to determine what occurred, notified law enforcement, and worked to secure its network.

The investigation found that an unknown individual may have accessed certain files between February 21, 2024, and March 20, 2024. Impac conducted a detailed review of the affected files to determine what information was involved and to identify impacted individuals. Notification letters were sent to affected individuals on or around March 27, 2026.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal information may have been compromised:
