The ransomware group known as Qilin later claimed responsibility and publicly stated that it had obtained approximately 149 gigabytes of data, which it described as the bank’s full dataset. After reviewing the affected data, Bank3 began notifying impacted individuals on or about April 15, 2026. The company also reported the incident to state regulators, including filings made in New Hampshire and Maine on April 15, 2026.
