What Happened?

On or about November 25, 2025, MEC identified suspicious activity involving the mortgageeducators.com website. Once the activity was detected, MEC immediately took steps to secure the website and launched an investigation to assess the nature and extent of the incident.

On November 26, 2025, the investigation revealed that an unauthorized third party had inserted a malicious script into the MEC website. This script transmitted customers’ credit card information to a Google Analytics account controlled by the unauthorized actor. MEC promptly notified Google Analytics of the unauthorized activity.

The incident may have impacted customers who purchased courses through the mortgageeducators.com website during a limited period of time. MEC subsequently compiled a list of potentially affected individuals and undertook efforts to obtain mailing address information to provide notification. This process was completed on January 19, 2026. On February 25, 2026, 360training.com filed a notice with the Attorney General of Maine disclosing the breach of MEC and began notifying affected persons.
