What Happened?

As a result of this alleged unauthorized access, the threat actors were reportedly able to obtain hundreds of thousands of internal employee records. It has further been reported that the attackers demanded approximately $1.5 million in cryptocurrency (approximately 22.34 bitcoin) in exchange for not publicly releasing the stolen data. Wynn has indicated that it launched an investigation into the incident and engaged outside cybersecurity experts to assess the scope and impact of the breach. Public reporting suggests that approximately 800,000 records may have been affected. The full scope of the breach, including confirmation of the total number of impacted individuals and the precise categories of data involved, remains under investigation.

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal and medical information may have been compromised:
