If you recently received a letter or an email from UA Sprinkler Fitters Local 669 Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (the “JATC”) informing you that your sensitive personal information was compromised in a data breach, we would like to speak with you about your rights and potential legal remedies. The JATC recently disclosed that it was the victim of a data breach that may have exposed the sensitive personal information of over 20,000 individuals.

On or about May 23, 2024, the JATC became aware of a security incident on its network. Upon detection, the JATC launched an investigation with the assistance of third-party cybersecurity experts to determine the nature and scope of the incident. The investigation determined that an unauthorized third party gained access to the JATC’s systems between May 17, 2024, and May 23, 2024. The JATC conducted a comprehensive review of the impacted data to determine what information was in the potentially compromised files and to identify affected individuals. On January 28, 2026, the JATC completed its review and determined that personal information may have been included in the involved files. On February 6, 2026, the JATC filed a notice with the attorney general’s offices of Maine, California, Oregon, and Vermont and began sending out notice letters to the impacted individuals.

            • Name;
            • Social Security Number;
            • Driver’s license number or;
            • State identification number.
